Melanie joins the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival from Cleveland, Ohio. Following a BA from Cleveland State University, she worked at several regional theatres including Karamu House, America’s oldest African American Theatre. She also spent years developing her skills in the historical theatres in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square. Recently Melanie took her skills out on to the road with concert tours like Donny & Marie, and theatrical tours including Mars Venus Live, and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Melanie takes pride in her diverse portfolio of experiences in different roles and forms of live entertainment. It is a joy to help manage spaces for fellow artists to create and inspire future audiences seeking a connection and shared experience. Melanie would like to thank her friends, loved ones, and the team behind this festival for their support. In the future Melanie hopes to continue touring and exploring the world through her career.
