DIRECTING FELLOW | Assistant Stage Director, Orpheus in the Underworld

Zoë is so excited to join Hawaii Performing Arts Festival as their directing fellow for Orpheus and the Underworld. She is a director, producer, and theatre artist living and working in New York City. At NYU Gallatin, she studied Directing and Dramatizing History, with a focus on the relationship between narrative and the process of production. She is thrilled by stories that remind us of the excitement and magic of our shared humanity. Zoë has been a part of Tisch New Theatre since 2019, and is beyond grateful for the opportunities and community offered by this incredible group of artists. Her select directing credits include: Amélie (TNT), Offstage (TNT), Unplugged (TNT), Lovesong (Gallatin Theatre Troupe), and Love Sucks (GTT). Assistant directing credits include the world premiere of Yes! Reflections of Molly Bloom (Irish Repertory Theatre) and Legally Blonde (TNT). Various theatre credits include work with The Huntington Theatre, the cell, Second Stage and Manhattan Theatre Club. zoelillis.com
