Agatha Carubia has been a distinguished artist, voice teacher, and competition adjudicator for the last 25 years.
She earned Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from The Juilliard School of Music and is an adjunct voice instructor at Santa Barbara City College. Her private students have been accepted into vocal programs at Curtis Institute, Manhattan School of Music, Eastman School of Music, Westminster Choir College, UCLA, USC, Music Academy of the West, and others. Former students now work professionally on stage and in Opera houses.
She is the author of a soon-to-be-published book bringing classical vocal technique to everyone. A part time Honoka’a resident, Agatha conducts vocal workshop, clinics and classes in Santa Barbara and on the Big Island of Hawaii.
