Hailing from the family of a famous Russian stage director and cofounder of the Moscow Art Theater, Russian native Anastasia Nemirovich began her music education at the age of 5 at the Central Music School for gifted children in Moscow. She toured extensively in Russia, Germany and France.
Ms Nemirovich was accepted to the acclaimed Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in linguistics.
In 2000, Ms. Nemirovich moved to Los Angeles to study piano with Vitaly Margulis at UCLA, and she completed her Bachelor’s degree in piano and musicology with Latin honors. In 2006, she graduated from USC with a Master’s degree in keyboard collaborative arts, where she studied with Dr. Alan Smith. She also worked as a teaching assistant for the opera department at USC.
Anastasia performs frequently throughout Europe and the US, both solo and in chamber music groups, and also works as an opera coach. She is also a singer/songwriter.
