 As a solo pianist, Vivian Fan has played with the Idyllwild Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of University of Southern California, appeared numerous times on The Hour of Power with Dr. Robert Schuler, and on KTLA and KNBC television as well as KUSC radio. As a chamber musician, she has performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Zipper Hall, Thayer Hall, Royce Hall, and the California Center for the Arts. She has also performed in Portland, Santa Barbara, Indianapolis, the Banff Centre for the Arts, Montreal Canada, and Benidorm, Spain. In the summer of 2006 Vivian gave a PowerPoint presentation at the ISME World Conference in Malaysia. She has been on the piano faculty at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, an accompanist at Colburn Conservatory of Music, and a teaching assistant to Professor John Perry at USC.
