Piano Apprentice Program

• Private lessons
• Solo repertoire study, preparation and performance
• Chamber music preparation, coaching and performance
• Alexander Technique and optional yoga
• Optional vocal study

Piano Apprentice Program is designed to provide a limited number of students an intensive program of piano instruction. 

Technique, tone quality and interpretation will be emphasized in private lessons.  In addition to the study of solo repertoire, pianists will be matched with instrumentalists and/or vocalists in the preparation, coaching and performance of chamber music.  Alexander Technique will be offered to learn about optimal body usage.  Participants will be encouraged to attend vocal classes for an understanding of breathing and the singing phrase.
